Sure, well, I guess I'll tell you the progress I've made so far. The disk for jsunpack was mailed to me via UPS some months ago after some major work and personal changes. The disk wasn't readable by Mac or Windows, but I was able to get it working last night. I am currently talking with a new hosting provider and seeing if they can migrate the jeek.org email along with standing up the website again. I will need to upload the approximately 600GB of data to their servers and perform some final testing before I can announce that jsunpack is back online.
A lot of people in my life originally helped me get jsunpack online and made my life easy to keep it running for many years so I'm really grateful! Lots of people have given me small words of encouragement and small things to get closer to having it back online. My life is full of activity now and I love it but I know the server is overdue to be back online so I'm moving as quickly as I feasibly can (but I'm only 1 man).
As of Aug 1, 2014, the service is online in a very temporary capacity. This server has significantly lower disk performance than the prior servers that jsunpack was hosted at so please let me know how it performs.
